Location info

We are taking our friends and new guests on a journey, a discovery of this ancient land. Its traditions and history, its people, the towns and villages, its healing food and beaches.
We are focusing on here and now and this beautiful Crete, in its entirety, a treasure to be explored.
The new summer & winter retreat offers luxurious accommodation and has easy access to many beautiful beaches, Preveli river, Kournas lake and all the interesting places to visit.

Summer location
Welcome to our new SUMMER location, Triopetra Yoga Retreat at Fortezza, the old Venetian Fortress, and historic landmark of the town of Rethymno. A beautiful peaceful shala, an amazing Health Freedom restaurant Soul Kitchen serving Food for Friends – surrounded by small colorful guesthouses.
Everything is in walking distance, as we are located in the heart of the quite part of the old town while the beach is only 5-10 minutes walk away. More attractive to families with children but also individual travelers that want to have easy access to exploring and seeing more of this magical island of Crete.
We will be arranging day trips to Triopetra beach, Preveli river, Kournas lake, Chania and many other interesting surprise destinations.

Winter location
Welcome to Triopetra Yoga Retreat in our new WINTER location at Roussospiti village overlooking the beautiful town of Rethymno. Secluded and immersed in beautiful Cretan nature. At the edge of a small gorge facing north and offering stunning views towards the Aegean sea, the Fortress at the old harbor and the Rethymno peninsula. Five villas built on an amazing site with comfort and beauty in mind offering the best sunrises and sunsets you can ever imagine. Only ten minutes drive into Rethymno town and an hour to Heraklio and Chania airports. For those that want an affordable high quality immersion into their practice, they can stay in our beautiful villas for a month, at the same price of a week at high season.
